The apartments reserved for Master students at Chalmers University of Technology are not published on our web page. They are administrated separately by the Student Center at Chalmers in collaboration with us. We do not choose who will be offered apartments for international master students. This is done by the Student Center.
Every spring, normally by mid June we receive a list from the Student Center at Chalmers University of Technology, with the students to offer a tenancy contract at Chalmers Studentbostäder. However, the actual contract will be e-mailed to the ones on our list after some time, so please be patient.
If you are on our list, and receive an email from us with information that you will be offered an apartment, it will take a few weeks before you get the actual offer.
Please note that you will only be offered one apartment, and if you reject our offer you will need to find an apartment on your own.
If you want to increase your chances to get one of our regular apartments, and not only the apartments through the Student Centre, you need to register in our housing queue as well. Please click here to register in our housing queue. Please note that it usually takes about 1.5-2 years until you are offered your first tenancy contract.
The process for receiving a tenancy contract is based on the queuing points, which is why you need to register in our housing queue.
It usually takes one and a half years up to two years to receive your first tenancy contract offer. Available apartments are published on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Therefore, you need to both register your interest to the Student Centre and register in our housing queue at the same time to increase your chances if you need a regular apartment after the tenancy limitation period of the Masters apartment. This does, however not increase your chances of getting a Masters apartment from Chalmers since it is a separate system.
